The privacy information covers three distinct entities: iSafeguard Vault, iSafeguard Files, and the website.

iSafeguard Vault (Mobile & Desktop App)

iSafeguard Vault is a cross-platform password manager that stores your credentials locally on your device using strong encryption. Your master password, PIN, and all secrets are known only to you — no credential data is ever sent to iSafeguard servers.

Optional cloud backup uses your personal cloud storage account to store only encrypted vault data. iSafeguard has no access to this data. The app does not collect telemetry, analytics, or personally identifiable information.

iSafeguard Files (Desktop App)

iSafeguard Files needs access to your Google Drive in order to securely backup and sync your files from your local computers to your Google Drive, including creating, deleting and modifying folders and files in your Google Drive, as well as setting permissions. It also needs access to the contacts from your Google account in order to share files with other Google users securely, including contact names and emails.

iSafeguard Files stores all data from your Google account in a profile that is encrypted with an AES key derived from your login credentials and stored on your local computer. iSafeguard Files does not send your data anywhere.

If you are subscribed to iSafeguard Secure Sharing Service, iSafeguard Files may send the name and the email address of your Google account to the website to facilitate secure communications with other people with your permission. The name and email address are used solely for that purpose, and will not be shared with anyone else without your explicit permission.

Website

iSafeguard Software respects and protects the privacy of visitors to our website. This website does not collect personal information from visitors to the site, and does not use cookies to track visitors.

We may ask for your name and email address to provide you with better service, and may send you emails when new products release or other product or service related information becomes available. The information we collect is used solely for those purposes. We do not share your name or email address with anyone else unless we get explicit permission from you.
